Wells Cathedral, Monument to Dean Jenkyns, 1855
Dean Richard Jenkyns was appointed a Fellow of Balliol College, Oxford in 1802, a Tutor in 1813, Bursar in 1814, and Master from 23 April 1819 until his death. While Master at Balliol College, Jenkyns was also Vice-Chancellor of Oxford University from 1824 until 1828. From 1845 Jenkyns was also Dean of Wells until his death on 16th March 1854. His widow extended his legacy with the founding of St Thomas’s Church in Wells in 1857

The Taunton Courier reports upon the completion of a monument in Wells cathedral in memory of the Late Dean Jenkyns. “As a work of art the monument reflects great credit on the artist, Mr. Forsyth, of London, a young and rising man, who executed a considerable portion of the stone and wood carving used in the recent restoration of the cathedral “
The photograph below was provided by, and used with the permission of, John Harris. I have now found out, from contacts at Wells, that the monument is in the St Katherine's chapel but I'm not sure if there is anything more than shown in the photograph
