The Worcestershire Chronicle reports “ The old church at Newland is being pulled down. The edifice was dedicated to St Leonard, and is said to have been a grange belonging to the Priory of Malvern. On the spot where the altar stood a cross is to be placed. Mr. Forsyth, of Worcester, being entrusted with the order “
