The Worcester journal reports “ MONUMENT TO THE LATE JOHN INNES POCOCK – During the past week, a monument has been erected in Twyning church yard, near Tewkesbury, by Mrs. Pocock, of Puckrup Hall, to the memory of her late husband….the monument is of singular beauty. Upon the cope, which is of the purest statuary marble, is worked out a floreated recumbent cross, round the centre and arms of which are represented in relief the leaves and blossom of the passion flower. The monument, both as regards its design and execution, is the work of Mr. Forsyth, sculptor, of this city “
