St John's Church, Leeds, Font and reredos        1868

The Leeds Mercury reports “ A new and handsome octagon font of Bath stone, from the works of Mr. J. Forsyth, sculptor, London, who has also executed the marble work of the reredos has been placed near the porch entrance”

I had a very brief visit to this church in my lunchtime a few years back and, at that time, I was unaware that James had worked on the reredos ; hence no photos
