Church of St Peter and St Paul, Coleshill, Internal and External carvings 1859
The parish church at Coleshill was extensively renovated in 1859 under the direction of architect William Slater. The expense of almost £10,000 was met by the vicar at Coleshill, the Rev. J.D.W.Digby and his brother G.W.Digby of Sherborne castle. It should be noted that in 1858 James Forsyth renovated the stalls and completed a huge reredos at Sherborne abbey which was also also funded by G.W.Digby
