CATSHILL.
MONUMENTS. – A monument has been erected in the churchyard to the memory of the late Rev. Thomas Housman, who ministered here for upwards of thirty years. It is a Gothic churchyard cross, about twelve feet in height. This well-finished piece of work has been executed by Mr. Forsyth, Worcester. A smaller monument of the same kind, beautifully sculptured, and with border stones, has also been erected to the memory of the late Mrs. E. Housman. "
Thomas Housman was the Grandfather of the poet A.E.Housman
The small cross to E. Housman of Perry Hall is also by Forsyth, and recorded in his account books of 1867. This was A. E Housman's father
