St Stephen's church, Worcester, Tablet for T.G. Curtler 1893
15.04.1893
The Worcestershire Chronicle reports “ THE LATE REV. T. G. CURTLER - Yesterday afternoon the memorial to the late Vicar of St. Stephen’s, whose work and worth have been justly extolled in both city and county, was consecrated by the Archdeacon of Worcester, at a special service in the church. The sum of about £200 was subscribed as a mark of the public appreciation of the influence exerted by the late Vicar, and it was decided to purchase a choir screen and a memorial tablet to be placed in the church….the tablet has capitals and a moulded canopy in character with the building of the church. Mr. A. Hill Parker was architect; while Mr. W. Forsyth executed the whole of the work, which both design and execution is much admired “
